Today as I plan and dream about the trip we have ahead, visiting old friends in several countries, it is easy to marvel at the relative ease with which we can travel.
In the days of early colonisation of this beautiful country, our forebears came via long and dangerous sea voyages in ships that seem nowadays to have been too flimsy to be safe - and yet here we are - several generations later, still moving between countries - albeit a lot faster than before.
Its still 5 weeks until we leave - OMG I cant believe I just wrote that - now I am seriously worried about all the things I still have left to complete....
So all I can say is - watch this space after middle of April to see what C and I are getting up to and the adventures I am hoping we will have.
